Pressure is light at June Lake. The few giving it a go are using Thomas Bouyants at six to nine colors – best at nine. Others are anchoring near the reeds and baitfishing. A 7.8 pound rainbow was caught Tuesday. It was caught by Howard Bradley of Pinon Hill. It is the biggest trout of the season. At Gull Lake. trout are being caught with Power Bait and Gulp baits on the far side of the lake and in the cove to the left of the Marina. Most are still-fishing. A plant of Alpers last week went in Silver Lake. The fish are deep. Power Bait offered off the bottom works well. Use nightcrawlers or Thomas Bouyants in the evening. A bubble/mosquito fly combo will work. Rush Creek is producing well, too. Gull Lake (760) 648-7539, June Lake (760) 648-7726, Silver Lake (760) 648-7525
