Get out before 6 a.m. and plug the reeds for foraging rainbows at June. After the morning bite the best tactic is trolling five to six colors with Tasmanian Devils for cutts and rainbows. Silver Lake has slowed. Best bet is soaking Power Bait from the shore or float tubing near Rush Creek’s entrance into the lake. Gull Lake is kicking out the largest fish. Troll five colors or find a deep hole and anchor with Power Bait. Grant Lake kicks out trout near Rush Creek to fly fishers and lure casters. Biggest fish are found six colors down in the main body of the lake. Browns, absent since early season, are showing to those trolling deep. (760) 648-7756
