Trout have been biting nightcrawlers or Power Bait near the Boat Ramp Area or in open water from a boat. Black Bass hit a variety of lures and nightcrawlers while catfish are particular to chicken liver or anchovies. Crappie have been reported from Channel point or Loma Island. Dave O’Neal of Pittsburg accounted for two big fish last week. On the 10^th he caught a 6.7 pound trout and returned on the 16^th to nail a 16.8 pound catfish.
