"BIG" females were starting to show themselves after a couple days of sun, and there were some big ones caught last week, but the bite has turned to deeper water 20-30 ft with this last cold storm. try a baby brush hog on a shakey head, or darter headed worm.. if we get a few days of sunshine, you better head to the lake...this will be the best time to catch a bass of a lifetime..try throwing a large topwater  swimbait, like the spro bbz, or an a.c. plug..work it really s-l-o-w, to intice the big females (209) 586-2383
