Montana Fish Report

After a few slow weeks, the fishing has finally picked up a bit. A number of anglers reported catching a couple of trout each off of the docks and regulars going out in the boats to the south end of the reservoir are bringing in limits using bright colored powerbait, marshmallows and worms. One expert angler who caught his limit on 1-24-11 said that the fish were deep in the morning and then moved closer to shore and were in more shallow water later in the afternoon (925) 284-9669
