Park hours during the winter are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and marina hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Trout fishing has been excellent with the water temperature between 52 and 54 degrees. Shore fisherman and boaters alike are pulling limits. Power Bait Eggs in white and green along with Berkley Gulp Floating Worms in fluorescent green are top baits. Power Bait in rainbow, orange twist and lemon twist as well as spinners such as Blue Fox or Kastmasters are good choices. A few largemouth and smallmouth have been caught with spoons and crankbaits. Mario Rodriguez of Pleasanton caught 5 Trout with the stringer weighing 25 lbs. the largest Trout weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. using Marshmallows and Night Crawlers at the Point near the Marina.
