Montana Fish Report

The trout pound at South Shore has been producing excellent fishing and limits have been common. Power Bait, night crawlers and Power Eggs are favored baits. The lake is also producing some limits of trout. trolling in about 35 feet of water. However fishing from the bank of the lake is doing just as good Bass fishing remains good. We have had a lot of reports from fisherman trolling for trout that are catching bass. Bass are biting on crank bait, jigs, and drop shot worms. Catfish from 2 lbs. to 14 lbs. being caught. The smaller ones are being caught from the lake and the trout pond. The bigger cats are coming from the lake.
