Excellent trout action here on the eastern portion. King salmon can be found in the Tuolumne river arm off Rough & Ready Island at 40 feet or in Woods Creek from 60'-to 90-feet rolling shad or lures imitating small shad (Midge Wooblers, small Ex-Cel, or little Cleo's). Red Mountain Bar to the mouth of Six Bit Gulch is holding some nice fish to four pounds. Trolling depth from 38- to 50-feet with Vance's Slim Fins or Shasta Tackle's Humdingers in hammered silver or silver orange have been very productive. (209) 586-2383
