Montana Fish Report

Bridgeport is still fishing excellent, still fishing with bait or fly fishing have both been great. There's also still been a couple anglers trolling and having some success lately. There's a lot of weeds growing in the lake so if you're trolling you need to check your gear often to make sure it's weed-free and running right. For bait it's been power bait, gulp egg clusters and crawlers, for flies it's been sheep creek specials, blood midges, soft hackles and pt's among others. Areas to fish have been Rainbow Point, Buckeye Bay, and right out in the middle in about 20 feet of water. Look for areas where the weeds aren't too high as that's where the fish will be hanging out.
