Montana Fish Report

Halibut fishing is very good at Paradise. There also are fish at Southampton and Red Rock. Halibut are averaging eight- to 15-pounds. A few in the low 30-pound class have been caught. McNear’s Pier is open and stripers and halibut are being landed there. Sturgeon are biting near the Pumphouse on ghost shrimp. Bass can be taken on the anchor near the Pumphouse, too. (415) 456-0321
