There have been some Mackinaw in the 12- to 20-pound range caught. Most are down 50 to 70 feet down but a few macks have been caught toplining. A handful of browns in the five to six pound class are caught in the morning hours by those trolling the shoreline. Bank anglers use nightcrawlers and salmon for rainbows. A bass fishermen last week caught an eight pound brown while tossing plugs for smallmouth. (530) 587-4844
