Largemouth bass fishing is getting good

4,000 legal-sized and 1,500 trophy sized rainbow trout were stocked last week. Largemouth bass fishing should start to get good as the weather is forecasted to warm up a bit over the next week. Dead-dropping rubber baits on a jig near stumps or willows along the margins can be very effective for bass. Willow Lake is about 3010.92 acft which is about ¾ full. Full pool is about 8,500acft. To check the current lake level click here. The boat ramp is open and there is plenty of bank angling available, as well.
