Fishing conditions:  Great

Report: The season continues to build with hatches still increasing daily. With this cool shot of weather things may slow for a few days. Look for spinner falls in the morning, fish will be sipping them on the side seams where the spinners collect. The variable weather patterns can really mix up the hatching behavior of the insects. Usually, a warm, rainy day will have the PMDs piling off. When it happens a PMD Challenged or other cripple pattern will be your go-to, Rusty Spinners for the spinner fall in the morning. Other things to keep on your radar are Water Boatmen, Callibaetis, Yellow Sallies, and Blue Wing Olives. Good dropper flies are Sweet Peas, Two-Bit Hookers, Red Micro Mays, and Russ' Sin City. Strip Pine Squirrel Leeches and Water Boatmen in the mid-day and afternoons. If you would like to set up a day on the Fall, give a call Bryan in Outfitters at 800-669-3474 to set up a trip!
