Water temperatures have dipped back into the 50s. The western side of the old dam is exposed and just a small portion of the east side is visible. Boats, float tubes, and kayaks can be easily launched. Shoreline fishing has been good with anglers catching 3 to 4 fish per hour. Recent angler contacts revealed rainbow trout in the 10-to-14 inch range being caught. A few brown trout have been reeled in, typically between 6 and 10 inches, however, one angler recent caught a nice 18-inch brown trout. Brown trout are spawning, so they may not be contacted as frequently until the spawn is over. A total of 4,128 rainbow trout averaging 9.6 inches have been stocked so far this year.
