Fishing good to excellent for brook trout

The Sprague River flow has dropped quickly. Redband trout are moving to water quality refuge. Areas near Beatty are best during the summer.

Bait fishing near the town of Sprague River can be ok for yellow perch and brown bullhead. Bait fishing only allowed to Saddle Mtn Pit Road Bridge to Godowa Springs Road Bridge.

North Fork Sprague River and All Tributaries 

Open year-round. Fishing should be excellent for Brook Trout up high near Lee Thomas Crossing. Fishing near Sandhill crossing is slow. Best Redband Trout fishing is upstream of the lowermost 3411 road bridge. Dry flies in the pocket water works well. Large brown trout occur in the river. 

South Fork Sprague River and All Tributaries 

Open year-round. Flows have dropped. Fishing will be very good for brook trout up high and redband trout down low in the system. Fishing will be best near Corral and Camp Creek for brook trout.

Lake Of The Woods: Fishing should be good from a boat
Link River : Redband Trout have moved out
Lost River: Water qulaity is poor
Malheur Reservoir: There are some very nice trout
Mann Lake: Currently fishless
Miller Lake: Good hatches of Callibaetis mayflies

Wilson River: There are fish througout the fishery
