Montana Fish Report

Fishing is good. Black Bass are hitting drop-shot rigs with creature baits and deep-diving crankbaits. Stripers are hitting on anchovies from shore near Boxcar Cove and outside Hemenway Harbor. Crappie fishing is peaking in the Overton Arm. Anglers are finding success with chartreuse jigs and tubes. Catfish are becoming more active as water levels warm throughout the day. Sunset fishing seems to produce the most catches.
