Wildhorse is completely ice free and full. The State Park has put the boat dock in the water and the ramp is open. There is some debris in the water in the canyon towards the dam from a semi that wrecked onto the lake a few months back. We will be working on getting it cleaned up but caution should be used when boating in that area in the meantime.
Spring fishing should be productive with trout in the 16″-22″ range. Bass fishing will be slow until warmer weather persists.
Special regulations: March 1 – June 30 is catch and release only for black bass.
