Montana Fish Report

Ruby Lake has 8 inches of ice at the main boat ramp. The collection ditch is mostly frozen upstream of Bressman’s Cabin, with the lower portion still ice free.  All areas of the Refuge are accessible. Harrison Pass is open, but requires four wheel drive due to packed and rutty ice conditions; however, any snow at higher elevations this weekend could change that road report.

Special Regulations: Minimum size for black bass is 10 inches. Non-motorized boats and boats propelled by gas motors 10hp or less are permitted August 1-December 31
