Water has been a little dirty the last week or so with warmer temps creeping higher up the snowpack. It's not awful, but it's not crystal clear either. Brighter patterns have been necessary so if you have something with just a hint of flash it will definitely help. Takes have been VERY subtle so try running shorter drifts with the bobber. If you're euronymphing this is where the sighter you use is of critical importance. You won't actually feel many takes right now, so most of the time when that sag in your sighter material straightens out you better lift that rod because odds are it's probably a fish if you're fishing the right depth! I've been seeing a small number of fish working the surface but it's not wide open. The water clarity has definitely affected visibility from the trout's perspective so go a little bit bigger and try to focus on the riffles where they will be positioned very close to the surface. Mostly midges early with the BWOs hatching bigtime around 12:30 most days. Followed by smaller Caddis around 2-3 oclock.
